By creating an account or using fasu.dev, you confirm that you:
- Are at least 13 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- Agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations
If you do not agree, do not use the site.
User Accounts
Registration
You may create an account using:
- Email and password (minimum 8 characters)
- GitHub OAuth
You are responsible for keeping your email and password secure.
Account Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information during registration
- Keep your login details secure
- Notify me immediately of any unauthorized access
- Not share your account with others
Account Deletion
You can delete your account from your account settings at any time. Deleting your account permanently removes all associated data — sessions, comments, linked accounts, and reports.
Account Suspension
I reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in abusive or harmful behavior
- Are used for spam or automated activity
User Content
Comments
You may post comments on blog articles when signed in. By posting content, you:
- Retain ownership of your original content
- Grant me a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your comments on the site
- Are solely responsible for the content you post
Comments support markdown formatting and threaded replies.
Content Guidelines
You agree not to post content that:
- Is unlawful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Contains malware, spam, or phishing attempts
- Impersonates another person or entity
- Contains personal information of others without consent
- Is intentionally misleading or deceptive
Comment Reporting
Any signed-in user can report a comment for spam, harassment, inappropriate content, or misinformation. Reports include a reason and optional description. Your IP address is recorded when you submit a report.
Content Moderation
I reserve the right to:
- Remove or modify content that violates these guidelines
- Ban users who repeatedly violate these Terms
- Delete comments at my discretion
Avatar Uploads
You may upload a profile image (JPG, PNG, WebP, or GIF — max 2 MB). Uploaded images are stored on Cloudflare R2. You can remove your avatar at any time from your account settings.
Data Export
You can export all your personal data from your account settings. The export includes your account information, sessions, comments, and reports. Password verification is required for accounts using email and password authentication.
Intellectual Property
Site Content
All original content on the site — blog posts, design, code, and media — is owned by me unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.
Open Source
Code shared in blog posts or linked repositories may be subject to their respective open-source licenses. Check the specific license for each project.
Trademarks
"fasu.dev" and associated branding are my property. Third-party trademarks referenced on the site belong to their respective owners.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems
- Use automated tools to scrape or crawl the site excessively
- Interfere with the site's operation or other users' access
- Exploit vulnerabilities without responsible disclosure
