# Helium Linux Installer

> An unofficial Linux installer for the Helium browser, with AppImage, GPG-verified tarball, and .deb install methods.

An unofficial installer for the [Helium browser](https://helium.computer) on Linux. It downloads official release artifacts from [imputnet/helium-linux](https://github.com/imputnet/helium-linux/releases) and is not affiliated with the Helium project.

## Usage

```bash
curl -fsSL https://fasu.dev/helium.sh | bash
```

By default, this installs the latest stable release. It detects your CPU architecture and picks a `.deb` install if you can use `sudo`, or an AppImage otherwise.

## Install Methods

- AppImage: No verification step, no `sudo` needed. Installs to `~/.local/bin/helium`.
- Tarball: Verified with GPG against the upstream signing key. Installs to `~/.local/opt/helium/`.
- deb: Verified through `apt`. Requires `sudo`. Installs system-wide to `/usr/bin/helium`.

## Options
