# Refined testmail.app

A browser extension that replaces the raw [testmail.app](https://testmail.app) JSON response with an inbox. ## Features

- Two-pane inbox: The email list is on the left and the reading pane is on the right.
- Search: You can search across sender, recipient, subject, tag, and text.
- Folders: Emails have read and unread states, and a Done folder with undo.
- Reading pane: Tabs show the HTML body, the plain text, and the raw source.
- Metadata drawer: The drawer shows From, To, Message-ID, SPF, DKIM, and the sender IP.
- Keyboard: Gmail-style shortcuts and a command bar on `Ctrl+K`. `C` copies the verification code.

## Security

Test inboxes can receive hostile HTML. A sanitizer removes scripts, forms, and frames. The result renders in an `<iframe>` with an empty `sandbox` attribute, and a Content Security Policy blocks all remote resources. The extension does not store your API key and sends no data anywhere.

## Why

The visual viewer of testmail.app needs a Pro plan, but the JSON API works on every plan. This extension gives the JSON API the inbox view it was missing.
